The position is primarily located at Clinical Chemistry and Transfusion Medicine, but also includes 20% rotation to any department, giving you the opportunity to further broaden your skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Transfusion Medicine (blood donation), eight nurses work, and you will meet healthy blood donors aged 18-65. We staff blood donation both in Gävle and Sandviken, and we also have a close collaboration with the other blood centers in the county.

As a nurse with us, you will work with:

  • receiving both newly registered and previous blood donors with a review of health declarations and blood donation
  • preparation of blood bags from across the county
  • administrative tasks such as emails and TeleQ.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has good collaboration skills and enjoys working closely with others in a smaller group where everyone contributes to the whole. You are flexible and can adapt when conditions change, while also having the ability to plan and structure your work to drive tasks forward and achieve results. With a service-oriented and accommodating approach, you create trust and good relationships in your work.

In the role of a nurse, you must:

  • be a licensed nurse.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience in venipuncture, blood donor tapping, and experience in dialysis.
